Introduction

         cgmapgif   Chhattisgarh State Industrial Development Corporation (CSIDC) is a Government of Chhattisgarh undertaking (registered under the Companies Act, 1956) under the administrative control of Department of Commerce & Industry and is the nodal agency to facilitate and promote industrial development in the State. CSIDC has been primarily involved in industrial promotion and facilitation; setting up medium or large Industrial projects; financial assistance to small entrepreneurs; export promotion; feasibility reports; industrial potential surveys; land allocation; entrepreneurship development training; public private partnerships (PPP); and development, maintenance and up gradation of industrial areas. It conceptualizes, conceives, plans, implements and maintains various ‘mega’ infrastructural facilities in the region.

 

 

            Over the years, CSIDC has played a pioneering role in development of large industrial growth centres and industrial areas at Urla, Siltara, Sirgitti and Tifra; three mega industrial areas in Bilaspur, Raigarh& Raipur; and the proposed Electronics Manufacturing Cluster (EMC); Information Technology (IT) Park; and Mega Food Park. CSIDC is also the nodal agency for implementing and monitoring the National Mission on Food Processing (NMFP) scheme as well as the State Mission Directorate for food processing in the State.
